Stayed there for quite a time,over a week which started during rains season ending so we had few drops.Later on weather improved drastically and we went to Surin beach daily. Hotel itself is a perfect sport for couples seeking romantic hideout,rooms are spacious (ours was upgraded to a spacious studio which I read is a common practice for long time visitors). Anyway.best money I spent on a hotel in a time,everything was just perfect - the place,the food (Oriental Spoon is not cheap but boy they cook well). Tips - if happen to be there on Sunday don't miss the lunch brunch,worth every cent spent.Also get the membership card (red one) and punch it.

Ventajas: Las habitaciones son aún más bonitas y espaciosas de lo que aparecen en las fotos. Las instalaciones son alucinantes, la piscina preciosa y el club de playa estaba genial. El trato de todo el personal era fantástico y recomendamos coger alguna actividad o excursión en barco organizado por el hotel ya que a pesar de ser un poco caro merece la pena por la profesionalidad, por el lujo de las embarcaciones y por los sitios tan chulos a los que te llevan. Nosotros fuimos a hacer snorkel y a ver las islas del norte, panga, james bond etc...Sin duda una de las mejores experiencias de nuestro viaje por Tailandia!!

Ventajas: Me pareció largo y difícil por una buena ubicación para unas vacaciones en la playa en Tailandia con mis hijos (16, 14, 11). Aunque el Marriott Merlin Beach era un poco más caro que otras opciones, sin duda valió la pena el tiempo y el dinero extra.
Hemos viajado mucho y es raro encontrar un hotel con la combinación de ubicación y conveniencia. Los niños estaban en el agua, ya sea en la piscina o haciendo snorkel en el arrecife todo el día. Fácilmente supervisado desde mi silla de playa con bebida en la mano.

Beatifull resort ,has everything you need to relax first class, away from busy Pattong Beach, middle of nowhere, yet only about 7 minutes by bus to Patong Beach shops and markets. We will definitelly be back again.I would recomend Merlin Beach Resort for families with childern,newlyweds, couples, singles, there is plenty of room for everybody.Great Phuket destination. Breakfasts were excelent and restaurant prices for Lunch and Dinner very reasonable.

It was affordable and not overly priced for beach view. The rooms were enormous and had beautiful balconies overlooking the ocean and we saw elephants walking down the highway one morning. Very quiet resort area.

We had really high expectations and i can easily say that the villa outperformed them... Above all of this, the staff was really helpful and they were always genuinely smiling. Ventajas: The rooms, the pool, the self contained kitchen and living area is first class. I like the seclusion of being far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The only problem there is getting around Phuket which costs a ridiculous $500 bart via taxi one way. One way to get around this is to hire your own driver for the whole week if you plan to visit the many places around Phuket. Overall the hotel was excellent to stay as a family with friends. we would love to come back next year.

Ventajas: Situated on the far end of the Kamala Beach, the hotel as a virtually exclusive part of the beach. It's a 10-15 minute walk to any beach amenities like fruit shakes, massages etc., but that also means that pretty much only hotel guests use it, so it's quite clean and quiet.
The sea is clean. Far from the transparent turquoise of the islands, though, but there's zero trash on the beach or in the water.
Breakfasts are great. Enough variety, and everything is delicious. Pretty much western selection of foods for breakfast. Different tropical fruit smoothies every day.

Ventajas: Worse experience ever the front desk lost our reservations refused to listen to me speak and shouted over me the whole time “your credit card declined cancelled your room reservations you call Expedia “. Expedia called and the hotel lied told them they found reservation then turned around and charged us more then double the price for the room not beach front as requested either. We had no choice because it was late and raining out plus we were with our 5 children. The location is on the beach but only easily accessible if in a beach front cottage. Tons of mosquitoes and the staff was rude. I think this place is scandalous so stay away.

Ventajas: We went to Thailand for my birthday and we choose this hotel because it's very quiet and beautiful. The hotel grounds are well kept, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. One of the house keeping lady's that I forget her name she was very nice and even teach us some very basic Thai words. At the frond desk they all nice but are favored are Sinead i think that her name and Pond they are very professional, helpful, friendly, always going that extra mile. We love this hotel so much and his employees and of course Thailand that we probably going back in April or May of next year but this time we bringing friends because now they all want to go back whit us.

Ventajas: U Zenmaya fue sin duda uno de los puntos destacados durante nuestro viaje a Tailandia. El personal era muy amable e informativo e incluso nos enseñó algunas frases tailandesas que podíamos usar durante nuestro viaje. Nuestra habitación era espaciosa y estaba súper limpia.
Si decides alojarte en Namaka Resort Kamala de Kamala, estarás a pie de playa y a apenas 4 min en coche de Playa Kamala y a 8 de Playa Kalim. Tendrás periódicos gratuitos en el vestíbulo, tintorería o lavandería y un servicio de recepción las 24 horas a tu disposición. Ventajas: Location is a perfect ocean view . This is a hotel where the web page actually shows a true picture. Staff are great and rooms spascious. Nothing is too much trouble from the staff and was our most enjoyable stay whilst on holidays. Breakfast is like a feast and variety perfect for all tastes. Would go back and recommend to family and friends. Try the white orchid down the road for a meal as well.
