Desventajas: The price jumped up to double what we originally rented it online for because they added the top insurance on the car. Because of this reason we will not rent again with Sixt. We had a Fiat 500 for one week and paid over 1000 euros when the price we agreed on was a little over $500 when we booked it in the US.

Desventajas: Flight was delayed/rerouted. They cancelled my reservation as a no-show after 2 hours. Tried to get me to rebook for more than quadruple the price. Staff seemed eager to cancel rental bookings as soon as they could. Never took a rental from sixt and booked with hertz instead.
Bad company: Stay Away
Ventajas: Nothing, from arrival, to seeing other customers' experiences to our own experience, this is no way of doing business.
Desventajas: The website needs some serious re-designing so that people can make changes to their reservations. Our entrance to the Linate airport was delayed by Passport Control own incompetence (3 officers for 2 flights will make you spend an extra hour and a half before you pick up your luggage). By the time we got to the car rental counter our car was gone and the only thing the could offer was another vehicle for an additional 200 Euros (same thing with the 2 couples ahead of us). We declined, took the train to Verona and rented a car in Verona from another company for a fraction of the price SIXT offered us. Treat customers like that consistency and you might be owned by HERTZ in the future. This is one to avoid in the future.
Ventajas: Car and service
Desventajas: I did not like the return of the rental car at Milan Malpensa airport. There was no one at the return location. I had to leave the car in the return lot. I inspected the car and there was no damage. Then I had to walk to the car rental counter which was inside the terminal about 500 meters from the rental car drop off to leave the keys at the rental car counter. Five days later, I receive an email that the car had damage to the front bumper. If they had someone at the car rental drop off, then they would have seen that I returned the car with no damage. I do not know who used the car and damaged it after I returned it.
Desventajas: Returning the car to Milan airport is complicated and not well indicated .

Desventajas: El precio subió hasta el doble de lo que originalmente lo alquilamos en línea porque agregaron el seguro superior en el coche. Por esta razón no alquilaremos de nuevo con Sixt. Teníamos un Fiat 500 para una semana y pagamos más de 1000 euros cuando el precio que acordamos era un poco más de 500 dólares cuando lo reservamos en los Estados Unidos.
