Ventajas: The car was nice and a good value. Drop off was easy.
Desventajas: There is no easy way to contact Advantage when a flight is delayed. We were told that we had lost our reservation because of a delayed flight. (It was then corrected.) Only one person was working the counter. Costs were not revealed up front (Extra Driver, fuel options, insurance.) The inside of the windshield was smeared making it difficult to see.
Desventajas: Be sure to check the vehicle for damage. I was given an inspection report without them walking around the vehicle with me and it stated “no damage”. When I went out to the vehicle, it had a new existing dent on the passenger side front wheel well area. I had to go back in and have the employee come back out to show it to them so it was documented prior to my departure so I wouldn’t get blamed for it.
Ventajas: There were a lot of extra charges like for Texpress. They also keep a $250 hold on the credit card. There was a dent in the door we were not told about. The car smelled of cigarette smoke.
Desventajas: There should be someone to check the car in. Leaving the keys on the counter, or in the car, is not customer service.
Ventajas: no one was ever at the desk. i called and no one answered or ever got back to me. i had to find a car at Avis and had to pay more
Desventajas: Everything. It was an awful experience
Ventajas: Pickup - staff was friendly. Only 2 people at the desk, so was slow... however, not their fault, customers couldn't make decisions.
Drop-off - no one available to drop off. drop off box was not identified, nowhere to record anything, i.e. mileage.
Desventajas: Drop-off: No one at the drop off site nor anyone at the counter. Was able to reach someone via phone, but did not feel comfortable just leaving keys on the counter. Usually there is some paper to record the mileage and information for drop-off along with the keys.
Desventajas: I was made to feel I had no option but to purchase the toll package for an additional $88 and never once had to use a toll road. I also had to put down an additional $250 deposit after paying the $288 for the rental car, only to get half
Of my deposit back. Very dissatisfied.
Ventajas: The lady at the counter was very nice and quick
Desventajas: The price
Desventajas: They did not have the car that I booked online. Had to use a car that took diesel gas. The price did not match the price that I booked with
Desventajas: did not have the size car i reserved, so i had to upgrade to a full sized for $15/day more.
Ventajas: Drop off was very easy but the pick up was too slow due to too much explaining of insurance, toll, and break down
Desventajas: instead of wasting time during check out all the insurance matters must be explained during booking
Ventajas: Pick up was a horror story
Desventajas: 1 hour wait to get the car. 1 guy in line said loudly he had a 1 hour flight and a 1 hour wait in line. The manager allowed a rental agent a break with 10 people in line. Each rental took nearly 10 minutes as they try to upsell everything. Seriously ? Never again to save $5 on a prepay.
